Direct Debit facilitates transactions that transfer money within Bank. Merchant and the end customer signing the Mandate both are account holders of Axis. Registration and Transaction processing are done within the Bank without availing NPCI’s services. There are three types of registration process: a) Physical/Scan b) Net Banking/Debit Card c) OTP

Status via inquiry Api for current as well as backdated processed transactions.

Direct Debit Mandate Registration

To process direct debit online mandate registration requests through Netbanking and Debit Card.
OTP Based Mandate Registration

To register e mandate using OTP for direct debit transactions. OTP is entered on corporate interface and sent back to bank via API for validation. On successful OTP validation, mandate is created in mandate management module and success response is sent to corporate interface.
Debit inquiry

Axis Bank to offer the said API service which will be hosted by customers to check status of Debit Transactions initiated via DR Initiation API
Debit initiation

The API can be used by Merchants for initiation of Debit instructions post successful mandate registration. The input parameters as defined in API are validated and debit request to Axis Bank account is initiated.
