BBPS COU 13 APIs
These APIs are for Agent Institutions (AI) in BBPS who wish to render bill payment journey to end customers. Once these APIs are consumed by an AI, its end consumers will be able to initiate a one-time bill registration on AI’s front end (web/mobile journey) and initiate a bill payment. End Customers will be able to view past transactions for bills paid and raise a complaint, should there be an issue.
Agent Institutions can enable bill payments in their app or their web enabled front end. APIs are available to be consumed as an SDK as well
AIs may use bulk APIs, that are essential for transaction invoking categories, biller list, transactions etc
BBPS is an integrated bill payment system in India offering interoperable and accessible bill payment service to customers through a network of agents, enabling multiple payment modes and channels.
Providing instant confirmation of payment to the end customer
AI’s can send reminders to registered customers and help them pay bills due for payment.
